The nun made the right decision in this situation, both options were heart breaking and wrong but she chose to save a person's life, instead of letting both die. Although, I do not believe abortion to be okay in any possible way, this had to be a very difficult decision to make. I can't imagine being put in the position where I had to chose to either "ok" abortion or let both a mother and her child die. I think of it this way, save one person and let a child die, or let both lives end. She saved a woman’s life. "Sometimes the ends do justify the means," she writes. She had no choice but to save her life.
