Kidnapping in Haiti
There was a recent ordeal in Haiti that caused ten US missionaries to be thrown in jail. They tried to “kidnap” children and orphans from Haiti and smuggle them into the Dominican Republic. They have all been charged with obviously kidnapping and also criminal association. The question is, should they be charged with this or at all? Did they mean for it to be kidnapping? Or were they just trying to help the children and orphans in Hati? Personally I believe their intentions were good but they need to serve time for it. Haiti's prime minister, Jean-Max Bellerive, who said that they "knew what they were doing was wrong". They knew they needed the documents and all of the paper work to legally get the children out of the country. They failed to do so.

If the missionaries didn’t want to get caught or didn’t want to be charged with kidnapping, they shouldn’t have listened to Silsby. She clearly lacks a sense of forethought. This whole mess could have been avoided if the missionaries carried out the whole process, the legal way. They should serve some form of time for this.
